Awareness of the breath is integral to the practice of yoga. While most breathwork practices are best learned under the skillful ongoing guidance of a teacher you have practiced with over time, the concepts in this video are appropriate for beginners.**
Hopefully this gives you an idea of where to place your attention and how to begin to prepare yourself for working with the breath. You may notice that just bringing attention to how you're breathing can start to change how you're breathing.
